Mojtaba Jouzizadeh

Mojtaba joined the rTMS Neuromodulation Research Clinic as a research assistant in 2024, with a Master of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Ottawa. He has a physics background with an MSc in Neurophysics, and a BSc in Physics.

With over six years of research experience, Mojtaba has expertise in EEG data preprocessing and analysis, signal processing, brain functional connectivity and data analysis using MATLAB and Python.

In the rTMS Neuromodulation Lab, Mojtaba delivers rTMS treatments, records EEG during sessions, and develops automated EEG preprocessing pipelines on EEGLAB. He also has hands-on skills in participant recruitment, screening, and mentoring undergrad and graduate students, with proficiency in tools like and REDCap, SPSS, etc.

He enjoys playing soccer on his free times and always open for collaboration on research studies involved EEG data recording and analysis.
