Anjali Shankhatheertha

Research Assistant & rTMS Technician

Anjali joined the rTMS Neuromodulation Research Clinic as a research assistant in 2024. Before joining the team, she completed her Honour’s Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Biology at Carleton University.

During her undergraduate degree, Anjali studied the neurobiology of obesity in animal models in the Chee lab at Carleton University. She was also involved in clinical research including pediatric studies at CHEO and working for a start up company developing a precision treatment tool for ADHD. Since then Anjali has developed a passion for precision medicine and improving patient treatment outcomes by engaging with patients in clinical research. In her role at the clinic, Anjali administers rTMS treatments and supports data collection for various ongoing projects.

In her free time, Anjali enjoys listening to music, playing instruments, dancing and visual arts.
